Three /// Words

Oh those three words we all long to hear at some point in our lives. I love you. The sweet sentiment that connects us. But three words nowadays can help someone find us or help us find something we're looking for (yes, sometimes its love, but most times, its a location...).

Our Wings globe trotter, recently vacationing in Scotland, saw a note in the information her Isle of Skye host had provided, that said only "what3words - song.daydream.informed." How cute and poetic she thought upon reading and promptly forgot about it. It was only when driving on the twisting turning roads from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye, blowing out two tires (a story for another day), did she learn firsthand about what3words, an app widely used in Europe. When calling for roadside assistance, they asked for the 3 words that would pinpoint her location and just like that, help was on the way!

Created by an event organizer struggling to get bands and equipment to the right loading docks (sound familiar?), what3words is now getting more traction in the US with festival organizers and local authorities providing pinpoint address information.
